Hotel: Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Downtown/River North — 30 East Hubbard Street, Chicago, IL 60611
The hotel and venue are one city block apart (~4 min walk).
Both the ceremony and reception are at Salon 61, 61 Hubbard St. Once you arrive, signs will direct you to the space on the 2nd floor.
Salon 61 is ADA compliant. The ceremony and reception are on the 2nd floor. Guests requiring elevator access should enter through the side door of the venue — it will take you directly up to the space.
Please reach out at rachnrichgethitched@gmail.com if you need additional accommodations.
The ceremony and reception are both indoors — no weather worries.
Rather than a traditional seated ceremony, we invite our loved ones to gather around as we exchange vows. There will be no assigned seats and no formal sit-down dinner — but plenty of delicious food, plenty of seating, and a whole lot of dancing.
If you require an assigned seat for health reasons, please email us at rachnrichgethitched@gmail.com.
RSVPs will open when invitations go out later this year. If you already know you can't make it, please let us know at rachnrichgethitched@gmail.com.
We're keeping the guest list to those who know us well. The name of every invited guest is listed on your invitation — no additional guests can be accommodated.
We love your kids — but this is an adults-only evening. Unless your child is named on your invitation, please arrange a sitter so you can dance the night away!
Hotel guests: The Courtyard Marriott offers $75/night parking on site.
Driving in: Several parking structures are close to the venue:
No shuttle — and you won't need one. The hotel is one block (4 min walk) from the venue. All other weekend events are within easy walking or rideshare distance.
All food will be clearly labeled with dietary information including nuts, dairy, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free.
For Kosher meals or other specific needs, please reach out at rachnrichgethitched@gmail.com. We want you comfortable and well fed!

Yes! We have a courtesy block with discounted rates at the Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Downtown/River North — the same hotel where Rachelle and Rich will be staying.
⚠️ Book by April 29, 2027. Our wedding falls on Memorial Day Weekend, so rooms will go fast — book as soon as you know you can make it. We'll add more rooms as needed.
Other nearby hotels are available too. AirBnB and VRBO are options as well, though availability close to the venue may be limited.
Nope. Chicago is extremely walkable, and all wedding-weekend events are easily accessible on foot, by the "L" (CTA train), rideshare, or taxi.
The hotel and venue are in River North — the heart of downtown Chicago — with incredible restaurants, bars, and shops steps away.
The Grand/State Red Line stop is a 2-minute walk from the hotel, connecting you to the rest of the city.
If you do prefer a car, the hotel offers $75/night parking, or use SpotHero to find a nearby lot.
O'Hare International Airport (ORD) — Recommended. For guests flying from New York, American Airlines has the most daily flights to/from NYC.
Midway (MDW) — Also an option, and slightly closer to the city.
Both airports have direct train lines into downtown. For full travel details, check out our Chicago Travel Guide.
Chicago in May is, in the words of Forrest Gump's mama, "like a box of chocolates — you never know which one you're gonna get."
A few things to know: areas near Lake Michigan run noticeably cooler, and May is one of the wetter months — so a light jacket and a packable umbrella are your friends.
We've put together a full guide with our favorite spots. Check it out here:
Chicago pizza is not New York pizza. Please keep that in mind as you visit one of the only two reputable establishments:

Unfortunately, the Cubs will be away over the weekend. But! Join us for Sunday Funday in Wrigleyville — a tribute to Rachelle's early 20s — and maybe a sidequest to Boystown. 🌈✨
Like the joining of our two families, we'll have elements of Rich's Jewish traditions and Rachelle's Filipino culture woven throughout the ceremony and reception. Here's a little preview so you know what to expect — and how to participate!
